Alan Bradford

Alan is a leadership strategist, executive coach, and organizational development consultant with more than 25 years of experience helping leaders, teams, and organizations grow in clarity, health, and effectiveness. Throughout his career, he has equipped leaders, developed scalable leadership systems, facilitated organizational transformation, and built strategic partnerships across nonprofit, ministry, and civic sectors.

As Co-Founder and Executive Coach at Sequoias Coaching & Consulting, Alan partners with executives and leadership teams to strengthen organizational health, improve team alignment, navigate change, and develop sustainable growth strategies. A particular focus of his work is assessment-based coaching, using proven leadership and organizational frameworks to help leaders better understand themselves, their teams, and the cultures they are creating.

Alan also serves on the Lead Team for Forge America, where he provides national leadership in developing and training leaders across the United States. In this role, he leads and coaches more than 30 national leaders, designs leadership training systems and learning experiences, develops curriculum and coaching pathways, and works with churches, nonprofits, and leadership networks to strengthen organizational alignment and leadership effectiveness.

Known for combining strategic thinking with a relational and practical approach, Alan’s areas of expertise include executive coaching, organizational development, strategic planning, leadership development, team alignment, change management, training and facilitation, vision and culture development, and missional strategy.

Alan holds a degree in Ministry Leadership from Johnson University and has completed extensive professional training and certification in coaching, organizational development, strategic planning, and vision development. His credentials include certifications from Five Capitals, Forge, Coach Approach Ministries, and Auxano, as well as training as a Vision Strategist and Process Consultant.

In addition to his consulting and leadership work, Alan is a registered chaplain with the International Conference of Police Chaplains and is proud to have served as a Chaplain with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, an experience that further shaped his commitment to serving leaders and people in complex and demanding environments.

Alan lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his wife and three daughters—and two dogs who have yet to demonstrate much interest in organizational health.
